Question by dog8it: Why do people ask questions about things on here that they could just look up themselves?
I don’t mean trying to find out the opinions or experiences of other people, but stuff like for example,”What are the symptoms of diabetes?” They can just look it up themselves and get a lot more information!
Don’t say “because they are lazy”..it takes more effort to post a question here than it does to google a word!
Bewitched..you’re in sad shape if you believe some of the people on here more than books!! Also, I did say I wasn’t talking about trying to find out about the experiences of other people..that makes sense.

I’ve asked myself that a million times….but if you give that response you get reported for not answering the question.
I think they’re either lazy or they just have nothing else to do.
What do you think? Answer below!

Well for myself I don’t always trust what is written in books. It’s much better to get first hand knowlege from someone who actually knows what you are asking.
You used diabetes as an example. Well what better way to find out about it then to come on here and ask the people themselves? You are likely to get a better, faster response from someone who actually has diabetes then you are to spend hours looking for a proper website on the information. Google isn’t always the greatest. You have to weed out a LOT of websites to find out what you want sometimes. It can be very time consuming to search for things on the web.
do you know how many times I’ve been in violation of answers because of stupid ?’s lol They are lazy and looking for attention . These people drive me nuts so I tend to get sarcastic
I went online and looked up the very question you are asking.
The answer turns out to be very simple: They like to see themselves typing on the keyboard, knowing that Yahoo-Answers people will answer.
Surely you already knew that, and you asked the question anyway.
