Hi.
I’m 14 year old girl and I think I have diabetes.
2 days ago my vision became bad and when I put on my glasses, my vision was still blurry.today I went to my eye doctor and he said I went up three units (1.5 to 2.5) in 6 months. He said I could have diabetes… Afterwards, I asked my mom if diabetes runs in my family and she said yes. I looked up “Signs For Diabetes” and these are the symptoms I have:
frequent urination
excessive thirst and hunger
recurrent infections
drowsiness
blurry vision
dry mouth
dry and itchy skin
tingling or numbness in hands and feet
nausea and severe yeast infection
Should I get tested? I’m SUPER sceared of shots and my blood getting taken away… I wondering if it’s worth it.

your vision worsen by 3 in only 6 months is absolutely a sign of diabetes. you really should get checked out. since you are 14 you may have type one. Don’t be scared darling. There are pumps that they can give you and you don’t need to inject yourself every day. The pump would do it for you.
