By 2050, medical researchers predict that 1 in 3 Americans might have diabetes
With the prediction that as many as one in three people will have diabetes in the America of 2050, federal health leaders hope to sound an alarm. The estimates include diagnosed and undiagnosed cases and show that a best-case scenario is that the incidence goes from 10 percent, where it is now, to 14 percent in the next 40 years.
